The Millers Falls FIBX62R 150mm (6”) Wood Chipper Shredder easily connects to your tractor's cat 1 or cat 2 three point linkage. It is compatible with tractors of 40-85HP with hydraulic output connections.
The FIBX62R chipper chips or shreds branches, wood or green waste up to 150mm (6”) diameter with multiple adjustments on the blades, chute, and lift points.
The chipping / shredding rotor is powered by the supplied Shear Pin PTO shaft and Its hydraulic self feed system uses two hydraulic motors, each driving one of the feed rollers, powered by your tractors hydraulic system.
This heavy-duty chipper / shredder has a large diameter 760mm rotor giving faster tip speed for improved chipping action and the heavy gauge steel holds its momentum to power through 150mm diameter tree trunks. e precision cut, hardened steel blades are reversible for prolonged use and it has a safety bar setup to disengage the feed roller.
The machine’s incorporated blower paddles with integrated twig breakers are designed for greater output force and smaller chips exiting the machine providing more consistent chip size and allowing the chips to propel further.
Chip dispersion is easily controlled with the double adjustable exit chute which swivels 360 degrees and the top deflector adjusts the distance of throw.
The aggressive hydraulic feed hopper makes chipping effortless. The rotating teeth do all the work.
Note: Pine or other sappy timber have resins that can build up and clog the cutter teeth. It is recommended that some dry hardwood is put through at the end. This will prevent the teeth from clogging up.
